Habitar en comunitat (Living in Community), co-written by Lacol and La Ciutat Invisible, and published by Los Libros de la Catarata with the support of the Fundación Arquia in its first edition, explores different aspects of cooperative housing under the use-right model. The second edition includes an epilogue by La Dinamo Fundació.

Use-right cooperative housing is a participatory model with a long-standing history, whose degree of innovation and gradual implementation can often go unnoticed. This book outlines the core principles that define the model, such as the right of use, collective ownership, and self-development. It also presents the key elements required to bring such a project to life: an organised group with a shared vision, an economic structure, a site, and technical support. This edition seeks to explore how use-right housing cooperatives have been and continue to be capable of fostering affordable collective housing, with a high transformative potential and independent from market speculation. The value of this publication lies in the fact that rarely has a book aimed at a general audience addressed so many different aspects and linked experiences from various countries.
