The project consists of designing furniture to support the exhibition ABC - Atelier Arte Bellezza e Culture of the Lazio Region, coordinated by VisivaLab. It introduces reflections made by various artists during a year-long residency in the space and displays works by these artists who have worked on the entire large complex of the Trajan’s Market (a building constructed in the 2nd century, near the iconic Colosseum in Rome, being the most important market of the Roman Empire at that time).
During 2019, the first part of the exhibition was developed with three pieces of furniture primarily hosting video works and sound art. Notable are two large tables featuring four touch screens displaying audiovisual content and an interactive map to explore several of the works. In 2020, the exhibition will be expanded with three additional furniture pieces that will allow the display of jewelry pieces, projections, and explanations of interventions in spaces within the market itself.
