This development, located on Bolivia Street in the Poblenou neighborhood, consists of the construction of 76 social housing units for rent. The project stems from a collaboration between Llar Jove and La Dinamo Foundation, made possible thanks to the 99-year lease of a publicly owned plot through the 2021 ESAL Agreement. The building is designed by Lara & Escaño Arquitectes, and the Construction Manager is Lacol, aiming to optimize the entire construction process, coordinate the involved stakeholders, and ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and deadline standards.

The physical execution of the work is carried out by the construction company CALAF, using the Lean construction method, which allows for more efficient planning and better resource coordination. The project faces significant technical and scheduling challenges: 7,220 m² must be constructed with an in-situ concrete structure while managing prior constraints such as contaminated soil and the existing pneumatic waste collection infrastructure on the site. All of this within a demanding execution period of 18 months. This development represents a clear commitment to expanding the stock of affordable and non-speculative housing in the city.

The 76 units will be allocated to families requesting protected housing, with a model that breaks away from classic ownership and rental dynamics. The project has received a subsidy of more than 2 million euros from the European Next Generation funds, which requires strict monitoring of the process to ensure compliance with requirements and proper justification.
